The nominations are in for 75th Primetime Emmys, and tons of queer talent and entertainment are represented. While we'll have to wait until September 18 to see who (and what) brings home the award in each category, here are the LGBTQ+ television shows and actors that have earned Emmy nominations.
The Last of Us - Outstanding Drama Series
HBO's critically acclaimed The Last of Us series had multiple queer characters and storylines, including a particularly poignant romance between fan-favorites Bill and Frank. The show is nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, one of the Emmys' premiere categories.
Yellowjackets - Outstanding Drama Series
Also in the running for Outstanding Drama Series is Showtime's Yellowjackets, a series at the forefront of queer representation for both cast and characters.
The White Lotus - Outstanding Drama Series
The Sicily-set second season of HBO's The White Lotus also earned an Outstanding Drama Series nomination, along with a number of acting category nods.
House of the Dragon - Outstanding Drama Series
HBO's Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is another nominee in the Outstanding Drama Series category. The show's gay character, Laenor Velaryon, is a fan favorite.
Abbott Elementary - Outstanding Comedy Series
ABC's hit mockumentary series Abbott Elementary, which features a prominent gay character (Jacob), is up for the Outstanding Comedy Series award.
Only Murders in the Building - Outstanding Comedy Series
Another nominee in the Outstanding Comedy Series category, season two of Hulu's Only Murders in the Building features a prominent same-sex kiss between Selena Gomez and out actor and model Cara Delevingne.
Bella Ramsey - Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series
For their role of Ellie in The Last of Us, 19-year-old nonbinary star Bella Ramsey earned a nomination in a major category: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Their co-star, friend, and ally Pedro Pascal is also up for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

Bisexual star Aubrey Plaza is in the running for best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in season two of The White Lotus.
Murray Bartlett - Guest Actor in a Drama Series
Out actor Murray Bartlett earned one nomination (Guest Actor in a Drama Series) for playing Frank in The Last of Us, and another (Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie) for his role in Welcome to Chippendales. What a year for Mr. Bartlett.
