WARNER BROS.
The Flash is sprinting towards us with a new trailer!
This summer’s The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Michael Shannon, and Sasha Calle, just debuted a new trailer, and it has us more excited for the movie than we thought we would be!
The trailer starts with Michael Keaton’s Batman from Batman Returns talking about his origin story and how he fights crime as if it would somehow bring his parents back. “You actually did it,” he says to The Flash.
Barry then explains that when he used his superspeed to go back and change the past so that his mother never died and his father was never arrested, but instead, he creates a new present where Zod won, Superman doesn’t exist, and everything is different.
From there, the trailer mostly shows some stunning action sequences, including with several Flashes and several Batmen.

Quite honestly, this trailer is badass, and we are more excited for the movie than ever before. The dynamics between the characters is incredible, Supergirl looks great, Keaton is terrific, and it looks like a comic book fan’s dreams.
Two new posters were also revealed today, both showing The Flash, Keaton’s Batman and his plane, the Batwing, and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl.

The Flash is DC’s most embattled film, with even more versions and delays than Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
The film was originally meant to come out five years ago in 2018, but after it was passed from writer to writer and director to director, it was delayed. Star Ezra Miller’s legal and publicity troubles have delayed the film even more.
During filming and production on The Flash, Miller was involved in several violent and criminal activities, including one where they were filmed choking a woman. They were also arrested in Hawaii for disorderly conduct, then in Vermont for breaking into a neighbor’s house and stealing three bottles of alcohol.
While many thought Miller would be replaced or the project would be canceled, Miller has apologized and WB has stood by the film and actor.
The Flash will be released in theaters on June 16, 2023.
